Offline password manager you can trust alone

An offline password manager keeps your vault usable without internet — because your data stays on your device, encrypted. LegendPass works offline and syncs only when you choose.

An offline password manager keeps your passwords accessible when you have no signal and, more importantly, keeps your vault on your own device. LegendPass stores your encrypted vault locally so it works offline, and syncs only encrypted data when you are online.

Can I use a password manager without internet?

Yes. LegendPass keeps your vault on your device, so you can unlock and view your passwords with no connection at all. When you go online, only encrypted data syncs between your devices.

Local-first

Your vault lives on your device

Local-first is about more than offline access: it is privacy. Because LegendPass stores and decrypts your vault on-device, the data you rely on does not have to round-trip through a server at all.

Open and use your passwords with zero connectivity.

Reading your vault does not touch a server, ever.

Sync when ready

Sync that respects your privacy

When you reconnect, LegendPass syncs only ciphertext between devices — consistent across your phone and laptop without ever exposing plaintext at the network layer.

Cross-device sync of encrypted data only.

Your decryption key never leaves your devices.

Backup

No internet, no worry

A dead signal or a bad connection should not lock you out. With LegendPass your most important logins are always at hand, even on a plane or in a tunnel.

Recover a password mid-flight, offline.

Backed up as encrypted data you control.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What happens to sync when I am offline?

Changes you make offline are saved locally and merge into your encrypted vault the next time your device is online.

Is local-only more secure?

Your vault is encrypted at rest on-device, so a local copy is safe; and with zero-knowledge sync, the cloud copy is equally unreadable. You get both benefits.

Do I need to be online to set up?

No. You can create your vault and enter passwords entirely offline, and sync later whenever you are connected.
