Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and GAMMA PASS LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, Entity ID 0008102768 ("LegendPass", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our website, apps, or browser extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

LegendPass is a password manager and personal vault. It stores logins, secure notes, two-factor authentication codes, photos, videos, and documents. Logins, notes, codes, cards, bank details, and passkeys are encrypted on your device and synchronise between the devices you sign in on; photos, videos, and documents stay in the app's private storage on the device you added them to and are not synchronised or backed up by us. We are a software provider only. We do not inspect, moderate, or take custody of the contents of your vault, and we have no technical ability to decrypt the secrets in it.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use LegendPass, and old enough in your country to form a binding contract — if you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account.

4. Your master password is your responsibility

Because LegendPass is zero-knowledge, you alone hold the master password that decrypts your vault. We cannot access it, reset it, or recover it, and we cannot recover your vault without it. You are solely responsible for choosing a strong master password and for keeping it safe. The optional hint you may set is a reminder stored in readable form, not a recovery key, and it will not restore access on its own. Losing your master password may result in permanent, irreversible loss of access to everything in your vault.

You are also responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Moving your only copy of a photo or a document into the vault and then losing your master password means it is gone.

5. Biometric unlock

Face verification, palm verification, and gesture unlock are optional conveniences for opening the vault on a device where you have already set the master password. They are matched on the device and are not a substitute for it. Biometric matching can produce false results; if it fails, the master password remains the way in. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to breach or probe its security, reverse engineer the apps except where that right cannot be excluded by law, use the service to store or distribute unlawful material, interfere with other users, or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

LegendPass offers a free plan and a Premium subscription at $9.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Subscriptions purchased inside the app are sold and billed by Apple or Google under their own terms, charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; the current period is not prorated. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies — we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores. Where we bill you directly, payments are non-refundable except as required by law; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@gammapass.com and we will review it in good faith.

Prices may change. We will give notice before a change takes effect, and any change applies only to periods beginning after the notice.

8. Free plan

We offer the free plan as-is and may change what it includes over time. If we reduce it materially, we will give notice and you will keep access to your existing data — we will not hold your vault hostage behind a new paywall.

9. Intellectual property

The LegendPass name, apps, website, extension, and content are owned by GAMMA PASS LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them for their intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The contents of your vault remain yours; nothing here gives us any ownership of them.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GAMMA PASS LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or twenty US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GAMMA PASS LLC from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time — see the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, or where required for legal or security reasons, and will give notice where we lawfully can. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

15. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and GAMMA PASS LLC only, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, have no obligation to provide support for it, and are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the applicable store's terms of service.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
